I found a couple of great sayings that I would like to remember and use in my life.
1. When one door of happiness closes, another opens: but we often look so long at the closed door, that we do not see the one that has opened for us.
2. "Never argue with an idiot; they will just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience."
The older I get, the more I realize that this is so true! So true!
Feel free to leave me some of your favorite sayings.

"When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country. But, it too seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me; but alas, they would have none of it. And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize, if I had only changed myself first, then by example I would have changed my family. From this inspiration and encouragement I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world."
Love, Doug.
"Life is not about the circumstances we face. These are, for the most part, beyond our span of control. Life is about how we choose to respond to the circumstances we face, and our response is always within our control." -Gary Gore
