JUST A QUICK UPDATE ON LIFE IN THE DAVIS HOME. ON FRIDAY AFTER A FEW DAYS OF DISCOMFORT, THE PAIN IN LAURA'S BACK AND ABDOMEN BECAME TOO MUCH TO TAKE. WITH THE HELP OF SOME PERSISTENT FRIENDS, LAURA FINALLY WENT TO THE ER ON FRIDAY NIGHT. SHE WAS PASSING A STONE FROM HER KIDNEY TO HER BLADDER. SHE WAS SENT HOME TO WAIT IT OUT.
WE WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HELPED OUR FAMILY OUT THIS WEEKEND. THANKS FOR THE MEALS, FOR LOVING AND WATCHING OUR CHILDREN, FOR THE PHONE CALLS AND VISITS. MARTHA, THANKS FOR GETTING THE TROOPS LINED UP TO HELP US. WE ARE GRATEFUL TO HAVE SO MANY WONDERFUL FRIENDS TO COUNT ON WHEN THINGS ARE TOUGH. WE HOPE THAT THE WORST IS BEHIND US, BUT WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.
WE LOVE YOU ALL!

Okay, for a second there I thought that maybe Laura was pregant!
Jim can truely understand what you have gone through he has spent a couple visits to the ER for passing stones in the last couple of years.
Glad to hear you had lots of support and doing better.
I am glad you are ok! I got one after having the flu for a week! NOT FUN!
