Amanda is the newest member of the "braces" club. We spent the day on Thursday at the orthodontist's office getting her braces put on. She will wear them for the next 12-18 months. She is excited about her new look. Her favorite part is that every month she gets to choose new rubber band colors. She is already thinking of ways to color coordinate her outfits for next month.
As for me, I think that she looks so different. I love to watch her smile at herself and check out her new look in every window, mirror, or shiny car that she passes by. She smiles all the time. She looks so grown-up now!

My gosh, Amanda! You have grown a foot or two! Seems like that is in a song...REally, and the braces! You will have fun choosing different colors each time you have the bands changed! It seems to make the experience more fun. Hope your teeth didn't bother you too much in the beginning-and as they are tightened down! You are a lovely, beautiful young lady!! Plus, and more importantly, you are very kind, funny, and smart! I love your whole family. give everyone a hug!
